Here is my operator Mike McClung and his Valmet Sheer. He has over 30 years experience in this field. He is a good fella and we are very lucky to have him on our team.He also runs our skidder for us.The Sheer will be used to cut down the trees and put them in bundles for the Skidder to pick up. Its snips the trees instead of using a saw, so there is less fire danger.Stumps in most cases are not even visible with this machine.
 This is a Mobark 20" Chipper. It will be used to dispose of all the dead, dying, and diseased trees after we cut them. The Chipper can chip trees up to 22" in circumference. It leaves a very clean environment with very little mess. The good thing about this process is the trees wont go to waste, instead they will be used for fuel at a local hog plant, which intern makes electricity for our community. This is also why we can do this at such a good rate, because we sell the chips. |  Here is the 518 CAT Skidder. After the Sheer cuts the dead, dying, and diseased trees the Skidder will be used to pick up the bundle of trees to the Chipper. |
